Khaya - Photographer
Khaya is an experienced and passionate photographer with a strong technical background in both digital and film photography. He is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, confident in his ability to capture stunning images. He is a hard worker who is eager to collaborate with Gold City Films to create something truly special. With his creative eye and technical expertise, Khaya is sure to create unique and beautiful images that will exceed expectations
Shermina - Make Up Artist
At the end of the day, it’s the smile that matters! I love to see the excitement and joy from my clients when I hand them the mirror. Nothing gives my heart vigorous palpitations like that. I’ve been honored to work with Zimbabwe’s most eminent artists such as Jah Prayzah and Aleck Macheso known as Baba shero. I’ve also been privileged to work with Takura just to name the few all along side Director Blaqs. My secret is to work with a clean aura and a bright beautiful smile. I give very honest opinions and enjoy being with the team so much. Being the only girl on the team, my team mates surely do make life a breeze on set. I would not trade them for another!
Kundai - Drone Pilot
I have always believed in creating my own reality through picture and film so when I DJI released they’re phantom 4 which was my first drone I was excited to finally create said realities. I flown most drones from DJI and my favorite one so far is the Air 2S as it is not only compact enough to maneuver through tight spaces for unique shots but also produces amazing video and picture quality.
When I’m not in the sky I’m on the ground taking photos with my Canon EOS R. Just like when I’m creating unique shots with the drone I try to take mind blowing photos of cars,models, landscapes and behind the scenes.
Panache - Lights
Discipline is Panache’s super power. The young man understands that on set, time is money.
We all love Panache’s work ethic. He came in as a trainee cinematographer and is quickly making his way to being a very good one.
Panache is the first of our trainees to find a permanent spot in the team. We are looking forward to recruiting more.
